About the club
Murphy's Sports Bar is one of the UK's premier venues, having held some showcase events such as TAOM Shootout, IPA Premier League and the Murphy's series.
The club has 8 supreme winners pool tables, each covered with Hainsworth Match cloth, with the facility for more tables when required. The tables can be arranged to suit particular events depending on the number of players and spectators.
Other facilities include a Diamond American pool table along with two full size snooker tables. Sky Sports is shown on multiple screens throughout the venue

Functions
The function room at Murphy's Sports Bar is available to hire for a wide variety of events, such as birthday parties, anniversaries, weddings and much more.
There is an additional side room which can be opened out to extend the capacity if required.
There is a private bar in the function room and also separate toilets to the main sports area. Catering can can also be arranged at additional cost.

Money Matches
Murphy's Sports Barhas been the scene for many high profile money matches ranging from the smaller pots up to the larger ones of 45k+.
Murphy's Sports Bar has a dedicated commentary booth, and along with our streaming equipment can cater for any all requirements.
Pool Competitions and Leagues
Murphy's Sports Bar runs a wide variety of pool competitions throughout the year aimed at all levels. In addition to the competitions, Murphy's also have a team in the Askern and District Pool League, playing each Thursday. Murphy's Sports Bar also run their own Blackball Singles League, consisting of a number of divisions and is open to all levels.

MMurphy's Sports Barhave an extensive stock of cues and cases for sale, including both playing and break cues.

Jordan Shepherd
Murphy's Sports Bar is the home venue for Jordan Shepherd, widely recognised by many as one of the most exciting players to play Blackball. He has won numerous IPA titles and is a regular in the TAOM shootout events having won it an unprecedented 5 times.
